We believe that through connectedness, we can help each other build and scale our successes. i4tl offers the opportunity for schools and districts to share and learn from one another as well as experts and practitioners in the field.
Communities of Practice:
Joining a Community of Practice yields a full-year professional engagement experience for schools and districts looking to accelerate, refine, or design their digital learning programs. This offering builds on the "Planning for Quality" work carried out by Evergreen Education Group. Together, we bring you best practices from years of in-depth education research in K-12 as well as hands-on experience helping schools design, implement, and improve their student-centered digital learning. Topics examined by the Community of Practice participants, facilitators, and experts include key areas affecting the quality and implementation of digital learning programs.
Digital Leadership Academy:
The Digital Leadership Academy is a sustained professional learning experience designed to provide school districts with focused professional learning for selected teachers and administrators in an effort to develop regional capacity for leading digital learning programs. Participating teachers engage in in-depth experiential professional learning activities with colleagues. This professional learning will focus on developing teachers’ knowledge relating to existing and emerging technologies and instructional models that directly impact student achievement. In addition, the Academy is designed to nurture the development of teachers’ skills in transferring their own knowledge to colleagues within their school district, creating a culture of capacity-building and teacher leadership.
