Kirk Johnson has served in many roles at the Downingtown Area School District during his 13 year in education. He has designed curriculum for all levels, from reluctant readers to implementing the College Board’s AP Capstone program, AP Seminar and AP Research. In 2019, he earned his doctorate from Immaculata University. With a focus on blended learning as his dissertation topic, Kirk has studied the implementation, growth, and institutionalization of blended learning programming and can offer unique perspectives for schools seeking to add that modality to their course offerings. Kirk has also had experience as an instructional coach for Downingtown Area School District. In addition to his time in the classroom, Kirk performs the role of Director of Coaching for Radnor Soccer Club, overseeing coaches and the philosophical direction of the soccer club. He resides in Malvern, Pennsylvania with his wife, Andria.
